Ademais, com o envelhecimento observa-se problemas relacionados \u00e0 perda relativa de massa muscular, tamb\u00e9m conhecida como sarcopenia, que aumenta o risco relacionado a quedas, que al\u00e9m de reduzir a capacidade f\u00edsica, tamb\u00e9m potencializa os problemas relacionados \u00e0s incapacidades. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-2vk9l\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 roLFQS _1FoOD _78FBa sk96G9 roLFQS public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><span>Ademais, a nutri\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 um ponto determinante na sa\u00fade ao longo do ciclo da vida, e a preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o com os comportamentos alimentares di\u00e1rios, dieta e estilo de vida, \u00e9 parte importante para um bom desfecho cl\u00ednico. Desse modo, para um envelhecimento saud\u00e1vel, manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da fun\u00e7\u00e3o, cura e imunidade, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio uma dieta de alta qualidade que atende a quantidade de micronutrientes e macronutrientes. A dieta mais saud\u00e1vel pode prevenir e retardar o aparecimento de doen\u00e7as cr\u00f4nicas comuns, mas tamb\u00e9m de doen\u00e7as tradicionalmente associadas ao envelhecimento, como a osteoporose, fraqueza muscular e \u00falceras de press\u00e3o.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-cqmk8\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 roLFQS _1FoOD _78FBa sk96G9 roLFQS public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><span>Nesse sentido, o envelhecimento normal est\u00e1 associado a mudan\u00e7as significativas na composi\u00e7\u00e3o corporal e na fun\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00f3rg\u00e3os, associado a uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1gua do corpo, massa \u00f3ssea e massa magra, enquanto, normalmente, o percentual de massa gorda aumenta. Este aumento associa-se, tamb\u00e9m, ao aumento das reservas de gordura abdominal. Assim, evidencia-se um quadro em que \u00e9 observado a perda do m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico e o ganho de gordura corporal. Consequentemente, \u00e9 not\u00f3rio que as recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es padronizadas para adultos n\u00e3o podem ser generalizadas para os adultos mais velhos. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-dciu2\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 roLFQS _1FoOD _78FBa sk96G9 roLFQS public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><span>Outrossim, a ingest\u00e3o tende a diminuir com o avan\u00e7ar da idade, bem como o gasto energ\u00e9tico em repouso, principal contribuinte para o gasto energ\u00e9tico total, que diminui a uma taxa de 100 a 150 kcal\/dia por d\u00e9cada, atribu\u00eddo principalmente a uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade f\u00edsica. Assim, a inatividade f\u00edsica leva \u00e0 perda de massa magra, que declina cerca de 15% entre a terceira e a oitava d\u00e9cada de vida, levando a menor taxa metab\u00f3lica basal e, portanto, menor demanda de energia. Al\u00e9m disso, embora as necessidades energ\u00e9ticas diminuam com a idade, os indiv\u00edduos muitas vezes n\u00e3o reduzem a ingest\u00e3o de energia, o que leva ao aumento do teor de gordura corporal. Por isso, apesar das menores necessidades energ\u00e9ticas, as necessidades de vitaminas e minerais permanecem constantes ou aumentam, necessitando, assim, de uma dieta rica em nutrientes, mas sem exceder as necessidades energ\u00e9ticas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-4khn0\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 roLFQS _1FoOD _78FBa sk96G9 roLFQS public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><span>No geral, embora a incid\u00eancia de sarcopenia seja maior em idosos, adultos tamb\u00e9m podem desenvolver essa s\u00edndrome. Assim, a sarcopenia \u00e9 considerada prim\u00e1ria ou secund\u00e1ria, ou seja, relacionada \u00e0 sa\u00fade e sem outra causa evidente, doen\u00e7a associada ou relacionada a falta de atividade motora, doen\u00e7a ou nutri\u00e7\u00e3o inadequada e o uso de drogas que produzem efeitos colaterais anorex\u00edgenos. Assim, evidenciamos a necessidade da manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da massa magra para impedir desfechos desfavor\u00e1veis na sa\u00fade metab\u00f3lica, evitando a sarcopenia e a fragilidade \u00f3ssea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-cends\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 roLFQS _1FoOD _78FBa sk96G9 roLFQS public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\"><span>Em conclus\u00e3o, estudos mostram que a pr\u00e1tica de treinamento f\u00edsico ao longo da vida pode preservar a fun\u00e7\u00e3o e o volume do tecido muscular no envelhecimento quando comparado aos efeitos da inatividade f\u00edsica. Tamb\u00e9m a literatura mostra que o consumo prot\u00e9ico acima da RDA (entre 1g e 1,5g\/kg\/dia) pode beneficiar a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da massa magra em idosos saud\u00e1veis. Ou seja, apesar de n\u00e3o ter sido observado altera\u00e7\u00e3o no percentual de gordura, observou-se um aumento significativo na massa magra em compara\u00e7\u00e3o ao grupo controle.
